Due to the high numbers of inquiries for puppies from my health-focused breeding program, long distance calls cannot be returned. I get approximately 500 hits a month on my site and it gets too expensive to return every long distance call - please send me an e-mail and I'll be very happy to respond!

Kaboom is not a "kennel"... my Boxers live in the house as pets, spend their days playing in my big grassy fully fenced yard, and are expected to live together in harmony. My "keeper" show puppies are usually sold on co-ownerships so I can still show and breed them, but they get all the individual love & attention they deserve with other families.

I have been breeding since 1995, and in 13 years I have yet to have a puppy returned due a genetic health or temperament problem. The vast majority of my puppy buyers actually say their Kaboom puppy was the best Boxer they've had! (The rest don't want to make comparisons of all the dogs they've loved).

The dog that my line starts from and all my puppies are connected to (BISS Am/Can CH Ajays Ralph Lauren SOM) lived to be over 11 years old. Most Boxers live 8-10 years. The newly introduced UK bloodlines into my program go back to dogs who lived to be 13 and regularly live to 11 and 12.

Puppies need interaction with their mother and littermates for as long as possible, to learn "how to be a dog". Puppies that are taken away from their mother or siblings too early miss out on the teaching of basic proper canine behaviours such as "play", "discipline", and "manners". The mother dog teaches her young a lot during the first few weeks - things that are crucial to the puppies growing up to be civilized adult dogs. Puppies that are taken away before learning these behaviours can be extremely shy, overly aggressive, fearful of other dogs,  or unresponsive to discipline... making training and socialization very difficult. Puppies who have been improperly hand-raised or taken away too early often make bad choices for house-pets and family companions.
