PET PUPPY CONTRACT:

Kaboom Pet puppies are sold natural-eared, and on mandatory CKC registered Non-Breeding contracts.

Pet pups must be obedience trained in a professional course by one year of age.  Pet pups come with a one year genetic health and temperament guarantee, CKC registration papers (as well as AKC registration if sold to the USA), and lots of written material on training, feeding, and socializing. Vaccinations are optional; I will pay for the first puppy shots should the new owner want to vaccinate.

I want to be a part of each and every one of my puppies' lives, and I encourage new owners to contact me regularly! That way I can learn about the puppy's progress, as well as help with any training, health, or behavioural issues (all Boxers are stubborn...the trick is in the training!). How the pet puppies turn out is as important as how the show puppies do...as the more I know, the better I can plan my breeding program's future.

All puppy buyers are expected to offer a loving, active home, a securely fenced yard, and lots of continual family interaction. If you work full time away from home but must have a Boxer, I strongly recommend "doggie daycare"!

SHOW  PUPPY CONTRACT:

Kaboom Show and Breeding puppies are sold cropped or natural (optional), raised by me in my home until at least 12 weeks of age (usually 14-16 wks), and must be continued on with their socialization & ring training after leaving Kaboom.

Show puppies must earn their championship and be fully health tested before breeding.

I guarantee my show/breeding puppies to 2 years old (genetic health & temperament), and expect that they are to be show-trained, conditioned, natural-raised (raw food), and ring-handled properly.

Kaboom females must not be bred before 18 months of age, or after 5 years of age. They must be health tested prior to breeding and are not to have more than 3 litters in their lifetime. Kaboom males must not be used at stud before 18 months of age and being health tested.

In past years, Kaboom puppies have been fed Eukanuba Puppy Food or Weaning Diet starting at 4 weeks, and Eukanuba Puppy and Adult foods throughout their lives.
My breeding program is now incorporating RAW foods into the diet to increase health and longevity.  Boxers in general are known for heart conditions and cancer (lymphosarcoma, mast cell tumours, brain tumours), so in addition to fully health testing my breeding dogs to screen out any problems, I am now feeding a raw diet - raw chicken, duck, organ meat, & green tripe. I am striving to breed healthy, happy, and true-to-type Boxers...therefore I require new owners to appreciate the breed, its origin, its health concerns, care requirements, and its stubborn but adorable character. I don't want my carefully bred puppies to end up forgotten by their new family and tied to a tree in the backyard.

Previous Boxer ownership is preferred, and excellent references are required for consideration to be an owner of a Kaboom Boxer puppy. Natural-rearing homes preferred (non-vaccinating &  raw diet supporters).
